This section contains information and reports on external audit and inspection of North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service.
Until 2008, annual audit and inspection was carried out by the Audit Commission under Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) procedures. From 2009 to 2010, this changed to Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA), which in turn was abolished by the new Government in May 2010.
