North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service works with schools throughout the county to educate children of all ages. The aim is to enable young people to develop and grow in a safer environment.
The Service also provides a number of specialist courses designed to meet specific needs.
For more information on our programme of school activities, contact the Community Safety Department at Fire & Rescue Headquarters on 01609 780150 or email.
These programmes involve educational talks targeted at all key stage groups (1,2,3 & 4) delivered by Fire Crews and Community Education Officers. The programme also covers fire safety and drills at school premises.
