Bridge days

Bridge days are single day events held on stations throughout North Yorkshire. They are designed to cover topics such as fire safety, road safety, the dangers of hoax calls and arson, plus other skills such as team work, respect and discipline/routine. Some days are tailored with extra input on health and safety.

Bridge days have been held for students taking vocational qualifications in building and engineering trades and have proved to be a great success.

Successful Bridge days have also been arranged for young fire-setters who have been referred to North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service.
