What will happen next?

If the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 applies, the premises will be visited by a fire safety inspector as soon as practicable. The urgency of the response will be assessed with regard to the nature of the concern and the risk to life.

If the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 does not apply, the concern may be forwarded to another appropriate authority that may have regulatory responsibility.
