17:08 Malton- assist other agency
One crew assisted the ambulance service to move an individual downstairs

17:26 Wyecourt, Scarborough- fire
Two fire engines attended report of a fire at a property.  It is believed that a lighter was being used to look at at item which had fallen down the back of the fridge, the lighter was dropped and caused the fridge to catch fire.On crews arrival the fire was out as the occupier had thrown water on it. The fire crews assisted with removing the fridge outside.

1807 Finkle Hill, Sherburn in Elmet- fire in open

One crew from Tadcaster attended a small fire in the open which was left unattended. They used a bucket of water to put the fire out

18:57 Delwood, York- alarm sounding
False alarm

19:33 B6164- vehicle fire
This turned out to be a false alarm. Flashing lights were mistaken for flames

19:37 Old Park Mews, Ripon- fire
Two fire engines attended a fire to a kettle which had been placed ona  gas hob an melted. Crews ventilated property

21:44 Skipwith Common, Selby- fire in open
One crew attended a large pile of rubbish on fire. They used a hose reel to put the fire out.

A number of false alarms were also attended overnight
