Incident Summary Sunday 24th June Night Shift

25th June 2018

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

17:40 Blakey Lane, Sowerby, Thirsk
A crew from Thirsk attended a skip on fire. This was believed to have been caused by a discarded BBQ and crews used a hose reel to put the fire out.

18:45 Jennyfield, Harrogate
A Harrogate crew attended reports of a car on fire. This was a minor electrical fire which was out on arrival

23:02 Filey
Crews attended a small fire in the open, believed to be a camp fire. They used a hose reel jet to put the fire out.

00:28 Upgang Lane, Whitby
Crews released four people stuck in a lift, using a lift key.

03:38 Brafferton
A crew from Boroughbridge attended a car fire. The fire caused 100% damage to the vehicle. firefightersweraring breathing apparatus used a hose reel to put the fire out. The cause is believed to be deliberate. 

Crews also atended a number of alarms sounding in Scarborough, Masham, Harrogate and York which were all false alarms.
