Weather Related Incidents

Please take care if you are driving this evening. We have already assisted a number of people from vehicles which have become stuck in floodwater. If you do have to drive somewhere please follow the advice on the AA website here

 

14:23 Carleton Skipton
One vehicle was stuck in flood water. Crews assisted one person from the vehicle.

14:29 Keasden, Settle
One vehicle was stuck in low level water. Crews managed to help restart the vehicle and drive it out of the floodwater.

14:29 Tarn Moor Bridge, Embsay, Skipton
Officers from North Yorkshire Police assisted one occupant of a vehicle stuck in flood water. Fire crews then made the vehicle safe by moving it out of the flood water.

15:05 A684, Aysgarth
One vehicle stuck in floodwater. Fire crews assisted the occupants of the car to dry land.

15:20 Hawes Road, Appersett
Two vehicles stuck in floodwater. The crews assisted the occupants of the cars to leave the vehicles, and left the occupants and vehicles in the hand of the police.
