Attic Fire - Harrogate

9th April 2015

Location:  Avenue Grove, Harrogate

At 0724 hours the Fire Service were called to smoke in an attic bedroom.  Occupants were leaving the property at the time of the call after being alerted by smoke alarms in the property.  Fire Crews from Harrogate, Boroughbridge and Knaresborough Fire Station attended.  The fire was believed to be a fault in a mini fridge. The fire caused 100% fire damage and 25% fire damage to the bedroom. Fire Crews used 4 Breathing Apparatus, 2 hose reels and small tools used to deal with the fire.
