Barn Fire - Scalby Nabs, Scarborough

Location:  Scalby Nabs, Scarborough

At 1806 hours the Fire Service were called to a fire in a barn measuring 20 metres by 5 metres.  Fire Crews from Scarborough, Filey and Robin Hoods Bay attended. The barn contained farm machinery and straw.  The fire caused 100% fire damage to the building and contents and some slight fire damage to an adjoining barn.  Crews used 2 hose reels, small hand tools, triple extension ladder, thermal imaging camera and general purpose lines to deal with the fire.
