Boat Rescue - Selby

20th June 2015

Location: Selby Lock, Shipyard Road, Selby

At 1158 the Fire Service were called to persons stranded in a 20 feet pleasure craft in the River due to broken steering.  The boat was causing an obstruction to River Traffic.  Fire Crews from Selby Fire Station in their boat made their way to the boat and managed to tow it and its two occupants, a male and female to safety at Selby Lock.
