Car Fire, Acomb

Location:  Burton Stone Lane, Acomb

Time 14:01

Fire Control received a call to a car fire at the above location and a fire engine from Acomb was sent, whilst en-route further information was received stating the vehicle had a LPG tank so another engine was sent from York.  On arrival the crews found a fire to the engine compartment and this was extinguished using 1 hose reel and 2 breathing apparatus,  The cause was believed to be an electrical fault.
