Clifton Green, York TOC: 07:41
Crew were mobilised to a report of a car fire. On arrival this was a false alarm due to an electrical fault.
Cotcliffe Avenue, Northallerton TOC: 10:40
Crew were mobilised to a report of a chimney fire. On arrival this was a false alarm due to a normal amount of smoke from a chimney.
Swan Hill Road, Scarborough TOC: 12:11
Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm due to a system test.
Haxby Road, York TOC: 15:39
Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm due to steam.
Weeland Road, Selby TOC 15:47
Selby crews and a fire engine from Snaith attended a barn on fire. It is believed that the fire may started in a tractor before spreading to hay bales and then the barn itself. Crews used 2 hose reel hets to fight the fire.
Malton Road, Stockton on the Forest TOC: 16:01
Crews have been mobilised to a fire involving an industrial unit. On arrival crews sent an assistance message requesting the incident be made up to 6 pumps and an aerial ladder platform. Crews from York, Huntington, Acomb, Malton, Tadcaster, Malton and Harrogate - 6 fire appliances, one aerial ladder platform and one water bowser attening. Incident currently ongoing.
Update 17:45pm- The fire to the industrial unit is now under control, and the incident has been scaled down so only three pumps will remain at the scene.
8pm update- crews are dampening down at the scene of the fire, and will carry out revisits throughout the evening and tomorrow.
14th December 6am update- crews have conducted a revisit this morning, and will continue to revisit during today. No cause has been established at this time, but it is not believed to be suspicious.
14th December 10:30am update- crews have revisited and dampened down hotspots using a hose reel at the industrial unit (workshop). They will revisit again later today.
14th December Update 1pm -
The fire involved an industrial unit approx. 30x10m. The unit contained 2 workshops and both have suffered severe fire, heat and smoke damage. The attending fire crews used 3 jets, 2 hosereels extinguish the fire. The cause is believed to be accidental.
14th December update 4pm- Crews carried out a further revisit this afternoon.
