Crew from Thirk were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm due to a break glass call point damaged by contractors on site.

 

 

 

Scalby Road, Scarborough

Crew from Scarborough were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm due to a system fault.

 

 

 

Gowdall to Hensall road

Crews were mobilised to a report of a smouldering log on a track. This was a false alarm as on arrival, no fire or log was able to be found, and no signs of fire in the area.

 

 

 

A1 Northbound Jct 56 to Jct 57

Crews from Richmond, Ripon and Darlington were mobilised to a report of a 4 vehicle road traffic collision on the A19. On arrival no persons were trapped and there was no requirement for the Fire service.

 

 

 

Picking Croft Lane, Killinghall

Crews from Harrogate were mobilised to a report of a farm outbuilding on fire. Crews extinguished the fire using 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reels, thermal imaging camera and a short extension ladder. This was believed to have been caused by a fire spread from some controlled burning of waste.
