Farm Building Fire - Clapham, Lancaster

Location: Clapham, Lancaster

At 2010 hours the Fire Service were called to a stone built farm building on fire measuring 5 metres by 4 metres.  Fire Crews from Settle and Bentham Fire Station attended. The building contained hay, straw and logs.  The logs were being dried by an electric heater. The fire caused 75% fire, heat and smoke damage to the logs and 100% fire damage to a square metre of roofing.  Fire Crews used 2BA, 3HRS, TIC and LPP into open water used to deal with the fire.
