Farmhouse Fire - Stokesley

Location:  Westlands, Stokesley

At 0005 hours the Fire Service were called to two storey Farmhouse on fire.  Fire Crews from North Yorkshire and Cleveland Fire Service attended.  Five Fire Engines attended 2 from North Yorkshire and 3 from Cleveland plus a Heavy Rescue Unit from Ripon.  The farmhouse measured approximately 15 metres by 10 metres, the fire caused extensive damage.  Crews used 2 hose reel jets, 4 breathing apparatus, lighting, triple extension laddeer, ceiling hooks, TIC and a hydrant to deal with the fire.  The cause of the fire is not known, a Fire Investigation Officer and an appliance from Northallerton will be revisiting later this morning to establish a cause.
