Flooding Update - 29th December

Location: York/Selby Area

Selby boat crew were deployed in the areas of Ozendyke, Ryther, Kelfield and Riccall carrying out welfare checks. Crews assisted with taking a Midwife to a property in Ozendyke where a two day old baby needed a routine check-up.

High Volume Pumps from Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue were deployed in the Stonebow Area of York.  Harrogate and Richmond High Volume Pumps were being utilised by Tyne and Wear and Nottingham Fire Service in the area of Castle Mills, Tower Street, York.
