Fridge Freezer Fire - Harrogate Hospital

Location: Harrogate District Hospital, Wetherby Road

At 03:23 we received reports of a fridge freezer fire at Harrogate District Hospital and mobilised both appliances and the aerial ladder platform from Harrogate, an appliance from Knaresborough and an appliance from Boroughbridge. 

Upon arrival crews discovered the fire was out but one ward heavily smoke logged, crews used 2 breathing apparatus and the thermal imaging camera to assist in ventilating the area and removed the fridge freezer out into open air.
