House Fire - Scarborough

18th February 2015

Location:  Queens Terrace, Scarborough

At 0227 hours the Fire Service were called to a property fire in the Queens Terrace area of Scarborough.  Fire Crews from Scarborough and Filey Fire Station attended.  Upon arrival crews found a fire in a rear extension to the first and second floors.  The fire caused fire damage to the second floor bathroom, floorboarding and Joists.  Crews used a triple extension ladder, 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reels and 2 thermal imaging cameras to deal with the fire.  The cause of the fire is unknown at present.
