House Fire - Thirk

Location: Stockton Road, Thirsk

At 09:00 we received reports of a derelict house fire on Stockton Road, both appliances from Northallerton were mobilised due to the Thirsk appliance being unavailable.

Upon arrival crews discovered the building which measures approximately 20m by 30m was well alight and immediately sought to establish a water source to commence fire fighting operations.  Crews used 2 hose reel jets and small tools to extinguish the fire and the last appliance booked away at approximately 12:33
