Fire crews from Kirkbymoorside and Helmsley attended a fire in a flat caused by a frying pan left on the hob. Fire was out on arrival; however crews administered oxygen therapy to the occupant of the property who was suffering from slight smoke inhalation


Park Parade, Harrogate

Fire crews from Harrogate responded to a hotel to release a woman stuck in a lift. Crews used lift keys to achieve this.


Huntington Road, York

Time of call 18:08

Fire crews from Acomb responded to an automatic fire alarm. This was a false alarm caused by an aerosol.


Round Howe, Richmond

Fire crews from Richmond attended a small camp fire in the woods near the temple grounds and extinguished fire using water backpacks.


Eastholme Drive, York

Time of call 23:20

Fire crew from Acomb responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a school. This was a false alarm.


Near Broxa Forest, Harwood Dale.

Fire crew from Scarborough responded to reports of a fire in the open sighted on waste land. Crew confirmed a large amount of what was believed to be fly-tipping was well alight. Crew extinguished fire using one hose reel jet.


Clifton Green, Acomb

Fire crew from Acomb came across a female who had collapsed. Crew stood by until arrival of Ambulance crews.


River Ouse, Selby

Time of call 00:43

Fire crew from Selby responded to a female who had fallen from the Swing Bridge and floated down the river. Crews used the Swift Water Rescue boat and rescued her. Female was left in the care of the Ambulance service.
