Fire crew from York turned out to an automatic fire alarm; they confirmed this was caused by dust.

Fire crew from Richmond were called out to investigate a strange smell outside a residential property. Initially believed to be caused by some gas bottles outside the premises. After inspection the source of the smell was not gas bottles but thought to be from the boiler. Crews isolated the power supply to the boiler.

Airy Hill, Filey

Fire crew from Filey responded to reports of smoke emission behind a commercial garage. On arrival crews confirmed a small amount of rubbish had been set alight, they extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet.

Fire crew from Acomb attended a chimney fire caused by a log burner.

Queen Margaret’s Road, Scarborough
