Incident Summary - Night shift Monday 4th September

5th September 2017


Hall Park Road, Tockwith - Time of call 18:40

Tadcaster Fire crew responded to a small pile of rubbish set alight. Fire extinguished using one bucket of water.


Skipton Road, Keighley - Time of call 19:11

Fire crews from Skipton and two from West Yorkshire attended a large fire in an agricultural building. The incident was then escalated to six pumps, one from Grassington and one from Lancashire attended. Incident involves a single storey barn measuring approximately  340sqm. Crews carried out water relay. Further details to follow as incident is still onging.


Near A1237, York - Time of call 20:51

Fire crews from Acomb and York attended a large amount of hay bales well alight. Crews extinguished fire using one hose reel.  Cause is believed to be deliberate.


Flowerdale Court, Seamer - Time of call 03:44

Scarborough crews responded to flooding inside a domestic premises. Crews isolated water supply using tools.


In addition to these incidents Crews responded to automatic fire alarms in Harrogate, Stokesley, Scarborough, Selby, Bedale and Knaresborough. All false alarms.
