East Parade, Harrogate – Time of call 07:39

 Crews from Harrogate were called to a smoke alarm sounding in a residential property. The cause of the alarm was cooking fumes.

Shipton Road, Skelton, York – Time of call 08:49

A crew from Huntington was called to a fire alarm sounding in a residential building. The cause is believed to of been due to deodorant in the detector head.

Wiggington Road, York – Time of call 12:02

Crews from York were mobilised to a smoke alarm sounding in a property at the above address. The cause of the alarm was due to cooking fumes.

Naburn Lane, Fulford – Time of call 12:56

 Crews were called to a smoke alarm sounding. The cause of the alarm was steam.

Scalby Road, Scarborough – Time of call 13:02

Crews were called to reports of a smoke alarm sounding in a residential property. On arrival crews discovered the alarm was sounding due to cooking fumes.

Chaloners Road, York – Time of call 13:46

Crews were called to reports of a fire in the open in the vicinity above. On arrival crews discovered this was a false alarm good intent due to controlled burning being carried out.

College Road, Ripon – Time of call 14:13

Incident involved a fire in a basement of a derelict building. Crews discovered cardboard and curtains on fire. They extinguished using a hose reel. The cause is believed to of been deliberate.

B6265, Stump Cross – Time of call 14:25

Crews from Grassington and Skipton attended a 2 vehicle road traffic collision. All persons out on arrival of fire service. Crews stabilised vehicle and made scene safe. One female taken to hospital for precautionary check.

Heslington Road, York

Crews from York, Acomb & Huntington were called to reports of smoke issuing from the basement of a residential property. Crews discovered a pile of leaves smoldering in basement. They extinguished using a hose reel and breathing apparatus. The cause is believed to of been a dropped cigarette.

Moss Street, York – Time of call 15:11

Crews from Tadcaster were called to reports of an alarm sounding in a school at the above address This is believed to of been a false alarm good intent as the intruder alarm was sounding and not the fire alarm.
