Tumble dryer fire – New Church Terrace, Selby

Fire crews from Selby attended reports of a tumble dryer fire. Fire was out on arrival of crews. Fire was caused by an electrical fault.

Smell of burning - Burnside Avenue, Skipton
Time of call 10:03
Fire crews from Skipton attended reports of a strong smell of burning inside a school. However this was caused by an overheated light fitting.

Automatic Fire Alarm  - The Spa Complex, Scarborough
Time of call 10:29
Fire crews attended a fire alarm alarm at this premises however this was caused by cooking fumes.

Road Traffic collision – Harrogate Road, Ripon
Time of call 12:06
Fire crews from Ripon attended a two vehicle road traffic collision outside Morrisons, no people were trapped and there were 3 casualties with minor injuires.

Chimney fire – New Road, Ingleton
Time of call 16:25
Fire crews from Bentham attended a chimney fire at a Local Pub on this road. The fire was confined to the chimney and was caused by a birds nest blocking the flue. No birds were injured.
