Crews from Hawes, Leyburn and Richmond attended a fuse box fire attached to an outbuilding.Fire out on arrival. Heat damage caused to beams in outbuilding. Crews cut beams away.

 

Lanshaw Croft, York

Time of call 12:58

Crews from York, Acomb,Huntington and Tadcaster attended a roof fire to a domestic property. Roof was well alight. Cause is believed to be electrical. Crews used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and aerial ladder platform used.

 

 

Village Street, East Knapton

Time of call 13:29

Fire crew from Sherburn and Malton attended a storage container fire, fire is believed to have been caused accidentally, possibly electrical. Fire extinguished using one hose reel and two breathing apparatus.

 

Birch Grove, Sleights, Whitby

Fire crew from Whitby attended an automatic fire alarm at a residential premises. The alarm was caused by cooking fumes, not fire.

Fire crew from Skipton attended a car fire that was out on arrival. Crews disconnected the battery and made the vehicle safe.

Fire crews from Skipton attended reports of an oven fire at a property. Oven fire was out on arrival of crews. Crews isolated the electric to the oven.

Fire crews from Harrogate responded to a small fire in garden, they extinguished fire using a hose reel and small tools

Fire crews from York attended a commercial property on Church Street to investigate a shop sign that was reported to be hanging precariously over the pavement. Crews made the signage safe using small tools.

Fire crews from York attended to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential property. Alarm was triggered by cooking fumes. No fire.
