Fire crews from Scarborough and Filey responded to a two vehicle road traffic collision. 1 male was trapped and crews extricated him using hydraulic cutting equipment. He was transported to Hospital

Fire crews from Acomb responded to a residential premises to investigate a smoke alarm sounding. This was caused by cooking fumes and there was no fire.


St Marks Grove, York

Time of call 12:41

Fire crews from Acomb and York responded to reports of smoke issuing from a commercial building. On arrival crew confirmed that a bin was on fire inside garage. Crews removed bin to outside and extinguished fire using one hose reel.


Seamer Road, Eastfield Scarborough

Fire crews from Scarborough responded to reports of a fire in a garden, however the owner was in attendance and the fire was small and under control.


A64, Sandhutton

Fire crews from Huntington responded to a horse stuck in a trailer, the horse was successfully freed as crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the horse.
