Colne Road, Glusburn - Time of call 10:25
Fire crews from Skipton and Keighley responded to a fire in a commercial property. Fire was caused by overheating ducting. Minor damage was caused. Crew extinguished fire using four breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets.
A684, Bedale - Time of call 13:36
Bedale and Masham crews responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision. 1 female casualty was removed from vehicle by crews using a casualty sheet.
Skipton - Time of call 14:12
Skipton fire crew responded to a two vehicle road traffic collision, no one was trapped and crews performed scene safety
Toft Green, York -Time of call 15:04
York and Huntington crews attended a fire involving electrical cables. Fire was out on arrival. Crews assisted in making the scene safe.
York Railway station, York. - Time of call 15:24
Acomb crews assisted some people stuck in a lift at the station. Crews used lift keys to release people.
Sinnington, Helmsley - Time of call 15:32
Pickering and Kirkbymoorside crews attended a tumble dryer fire. Fire was caused by kitchen towels covered in oil. Fire was extinguished by crews using a hose reel and breathing apparatus.
In addition to the listed incidents NYFRS attended several automatic fire alarms – all of which were false alarms.
