Hackness Drive, Scalby, Scarborough

At 12:30  Fire crews from Scarborough assisted Paramedics with a female casualty that was trapped underneath her electric wheelchair after it had fallen on her. Female suffered from slight bruising and was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.

Timber Yard, Barkers Lane, Snainton, Scarborough

Fire crews from Scarborough are currently  in attendance (time 16:49)  at a large fire in a timber yard . Timber yard measuring approximately 600 Sqm. 2 main jets are in use as well as breathing apparatus.

Marwood Drive, Stokesley.

Fire crews from Stokesely responded to a domestic smoke alarm activation, the alarm was triggered by cooking fumes, however elderly female occupant fell outside property just as the crew arrived. Crew administered first aid and requested Ambulance to attend.

Low Ousegate York

Fire crews from York attended a commercial premises on Ousegate to reports of substantial water leaking from the ceiling, which could affect the electrics. Crews investigated and confirmed that a flat above the premises had a faulty boiler which had caused the leak, they isolated the water supply to the boiler and also the electricity.

A19 Easingwold

An off duty Fire Officer was first on the scene at an road traffic collision involving a car and a cyclist. He requested attendance of Easingwold crew for first aid assistance. Paramedics on the scene also. Female cyclist was conveyed to Hospital by road Ambulance
