Incident Summary - Day shift Saturday27th August

Manor Gardens, Knaresborough

 Fire crews from Knaresborough investigated a strong smell of gas at a domestic property. The source of the smell was no found, but crews isolated the gas supply. The Gas Board attended and the incident was left with them.

 York Road, Stillington

 Fire crews from York attended a car fire involving an electrical fault. Fire was believed to be caused by an electrical fault. Crews esxtinguished fire using one hose reel and 1 breathing apparatus.

 New Queen Street, Scarborough

 Fire crews from Scarborough attended a flat fire, Fire was caused by a dust sheet left on top of a cooker by mistake and the cooker was accidentally turned on. Minor fire damage was caused and no people were hurt or injured. Crews extinguished fire using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet.
