Fire crews from Selby responded to reports of hay bales on fire. Crews confirmed 2 hay bales were on fire inside a Dutch Barn and they extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet.


Askham Bar, Dringhouses, York

Fire crews from Acomb attended a fuel spillage on a petrol station forecourt. Crews soaked up spillage using absorbant granules.


Station Road, Settle

Time of call 14:26

Fire crews from Settle, Hawes and Skipton responded to a moor fire involving 500m x 200m of moorland. Crews used beaters and two hose reels to extinguish fire.


Hurrell lane, Thornton-Le-Dale

Time of call 15:06

Fire crews from Pickering responded to reports of a barn fire which turned out to be a false alarm.


Wath Bridge, Pateley Bridge

Time of call 15:16

Fire crews from Grassington and Summerbridge responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision. No persons were trapped. Fire Service assistance not required.


Landing Lane, Riccall

Time of call 15:53

Fire crews from Selby responded to a hedge fire caused by a small amount of rubbish set alight. Crew extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet.
