Bishopdyke Road, Cawood – time of call: 08.12

A crew from Selby attended an automatic fire alarm at a industrial premises, this turned out to be a false alarm caused by a fault on system.

Heslington Road, York – time of call: 09.01

York attended an automatic fire alarm at a residential premises, this turned out to be a false alarm caused by steam from cooking.

 Leases Road, Leeming Bar – time of call: 09.06

 Bedale appliance attended an automatic fire alarm at a industrial premises, this turned out to be a false alarm caused by steam.

Belmont Road, Harrogate – time of call: 10.45

An appliance from Harrogate attended an automatic fire alarm at a residential premises, this turned out to be a false alarm caused by dust in the detector head.

Fulford Road, York – time of call: 11.06

Appliances from York & Acomb were mobilised to reports of smoke inside a residential flat, this turned out to be a false alarm caused with steam being mistaken for smoke.

 West Terrace, Richmond – time of call: 12.26

Richmond attended smoke issuing from an underground electrical junction box. Crews extinguished the fire using a CO2 extinguisher and left in hands of the electrical company to isolate.

Cherry Avenue, Malton – time of call: 12.43

Malton crew assisted the ambulance service in gaining entry into a residential property where an elderly lady had fallen. Crews gained access using hand tools and a lock snapper and left the casualty in hands of paramedics.

St Marys, York – time of call: 13.02

York attended an automatic fire alarm at a residential premises, this turned out to be a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.

A19 Thirsk – time of call 13.41

Thirsk and Northallerton were sent to reports of a Range Rover on fire and smoking in a layby on the A19, on arrival crews confirmed the vehicle was not on fire and the smoke was caused by a blown turbo.

 Finkle Street, Thirsk – time of call: 15.00

Thirsk crew extinguished a small bush on fire in the rear of a garden on Finkle Street, crews used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire was deliberate.

 Selby Park, Selby – time of call: 16.36

An appliance from Selby attended a fire in park bushes. Crews extinguished the fire using 1 bucket of water. The cause of the fire was deliberate.
