Wheeldale Moor - Time of call 14:08

Fire crews from Malton responded to reports of a large amount of smoke sighted near Bumble Wood. This was a false alarm, mist was mistaken for smoke.

 

Stoneybrough Lane, Thirsk - Time of call 14:37

Thirsk and Northallerton Crews responded to reports of a derelict building on fire. This was a false alarm as smoke was coming from a nearby chimney.

 

A1 South Bound Boroughbridge to Allerton park - Time of call 14:41

Fire crews from Boroughbridge and Ripon extinguished a lorry on fire.  Cause of fire was overheating in engine. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish.

Grassington Lane, Stirton - Time of call 15:00

Fire crews from Skipton responded to a two vehicle road traffic collision involving a heavu goods vehicle and a car. Three females were trapped inside car, Fire crews removed the roof of vehicle with cutting equipment. All three casualties were transported to Hospital by Ambulance

St Nicholas Street, Scarborough - Time of call 15:03

Scarborough crew attended a wheelie bin fire near to the Fire Station, however the fire had been extinguished by a passer by.
