Incident Bulletin - Day shift Thursday 6th December

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

 

Danebury Drive, York - Time of call 08:31

Fire crews from York responded to a smoke alarm activation at a commercial premises. This was a false alarm caused by a fault on the system.

 

Wigginton Road, York -Time of call 11:31

Fire crew from York responded to a smoke alarm activation in a public premises. This was a false alarm caused by a fault on the system.

 

Poppleton Road, York - Time of call 11:49

Acomb fire crews attended a single vehicle road traffic collision. A car had collided with a bus stop. One elderly male was treated at the scene by Ambulance crews. No action required by the Fire Service

 

The Village, Wigginton, York  - Time of call 14:34

Huntington fire crews responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a domestic property. This was a false alarm, due to a fault on the system.

 

Menwith Hill Road, Thornthwaite - Time of call 15:22

Fire crews from Summerbridge attended a smoke alarm activation at a public property, this was a false alarm caused by activation of the call point
