Scalby Road, Scarborough – TOC: 07.51

 

 

 

An appliance from Scarborough station attended an automatic fire alarm, this turned out to be a false alarm caused by cigarette smoke.

 

 

 

Flower Garth , Scarborough – TOC: 08.00

 

 

 

A second appliance from Scarborough attended an automatic fire alarm at a residential premises, this turned out to be a false alarm caused by a fault on system.

 

 

 

Brackenhill Close, Brayton, Selby – TOC: 08.33

 

 

 

Selby attended an station attended an automatic fire alarm at a residential address, this turned out to be a false alarm caused by a system fault.

 

 

 

Station Parade, Harrogate – TOC: 11.37

 

 

 

Harrogate attended an automatic fire alarm, this turned out to be a false alarm caused by a system test

 

 

 

Ainderby Quernhow – TOC: 11.59

 

 

 

Crews from Ripon and Thirsk attended a fire inside an agricultural grain dryer containing 10 tonnes of grain. Crews used working at height harnesses, hose reels and thermal imaging cameras to extinguish the fire and dampen down the contents. It is believed the fire was caused by an accumulation of dust.

 

 

 

Gale Farm Court, York – TOC: 12.28

 

 

 

A crew from Acomb attended an automatic fire alarm at a residential premises, this was a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.

 

 

 

Fulford Cross, York – TOC: 14.48

 

 

 

York appliance was mobilised to an automatic fire alarm at an educational premises. This was a false alarm caused by accidental activation of a manual call point.

 

 

 

North Street, Ripon – TOC: 16.41

 

 

 

An officer along with an appliance from Ripon dealt with a 3ft wooden facia board that was hanging from a building and posing a danger to the public. Crews used a 9m ladder and small tools to remove the wood.
