Incident Sumary - Day shift Wednesday 6th December

6th December 2017

Westborough Scarborough - Time of call 08:28

Fire crews from Scarborough attended a small fire in a light fitting. Fire was caused by an electrical fault, fire was out on arrival and crews used small tools and a thermal imaging camera.

Wighill Lane, Wetherby - Time of call 09:53

Tadcaster fire crews assisted West Yorkshire Fire Service with reports of smoke coming from a public building. However incident was dealt with by West Yorkshire Fire Service and North Yorkshire appliances were stood down.

High Petergate, York - Time of incident 1400

York fire crews removed two ladders precariously situated on a roof. Crews used triple extension ladder to gain access to roof.

Ripon Road, Harrogate - Time of call 14:35

Harrogate Fire  crew responded to an automatic fire alarm activation at a residential premises, however this was a small fire in the loft. Cause of fire is believed to have been damaged electrical cables in the loft. Fire was extinguished using bucket of water and electrical supply was isolated, Damage only to joists.

In addtion to the above several Automatic fire alarm incidents were attended. All of which were false alarms.
