Lawns Road, Houlsyke, Danby

Time of call 11:09

Fire crews from Whitby and Lythe responded to reports of a vehicle containing a passenger stuck in floodwater. Crews used vehicle winch to remove vehicle from water with male inside. Male sustained no injuries.

 

A171 Guisborough

Time of call 12:26

Fire crews from Richmond were returning from a previous incident when they came across a male who had fallen off his motorcycle. Crews assisted Ambulance personnel at the scene with first aid.

 

Main Street, Nunwick

Time of call 13:09

Fire crew from Ripon attended a Van fire and extinguished it using one hose reel and two breathing apparatus.

 

Ripon Cathedral, Minster Road, Ripon

Time of call 13:40

Fire crew from Ripon responded to an automatic fire alarm at the above premises. This was a system fault however, no fire.

 

Abbey Crags Knaresborough

Time of call 15:38

Fire crews from Knaresborough responded to a 16 month old baby locked inside a car. Crews had to break the drivers window and the child was reunited with his parents unharmed.
