Wiggington Road, York

 TOC: 19:08

 Crew from Acomb responded to a fire alarm activation in an industrial premises – cause: system fault.

 Campus premises, West Moor Lane, Heslington, York

 A crew from York responded to a fire alarm activation in a further education premises – cause: faulty detector head.

 Low Road, Kirby Grindalythe.

 Crews from Malton responded to reports of a car which had gone off the road, approx. 500m into a field, and was then on fire. Together with Police and Ambulance, crews searched area with thermal cameras, but found no sign of any persons. The vehicle – a Honda 4x4, was completely burnt out with the cause being deliberate. Crews also used a backpack sprayer, buckets and torches.

 West Lane, Dalton-on-Tees

 Crews from Richmond, Darlington and Northallerton attended a fire to three portable structures of a total area of 5 x 20m – all completely fire damaged. Crews used hosereel jets, thermal cameras, lighting and a water lance. The cause was an accidental firespread from adjacent attended controlled burning.

 Reynolds Street, Filey.

 A crew from Filey responded to a report of a smell of burning in a residential premises. This was found to be cooking fumes from a microwave from the premises next door. Advice given.

 Belmont Road, Harrogate

 A crew from Acomb responded to an Ambulance request to free a female’s hand which was trapped in a clothes air dryer. Hand tools were used to free female and leave in care of paramedics.

 A crew from Ripon responded to a fire alarm activation in a food outlet – cause: system fault.

 A crew from Harrogate responded to a fire alarm activation in a commercial farm premises – cause: fault on system.
