River Ouse, York - Time of call 09:30

York rescue boat, on Police request, searched the River Ouse for a known vulnerable missing female who was believed to be under a bridge in York. Female, aged 49 years, found safe and well by Police under the A64 by-pass.

A64, Fulford - Time of call 10:49

York, Acomb and Tadcaster RTC support, responded to a reported 5 vehicle RTC which resulted in x3 persons suffering minor injuries. Crews made scene safe.

Wilkinson Way, Strensall - Time of call 10:52

Huntington crew responded to a fire alarm activation in sheltered accommodation caused by paint fumes.

Little Airmyn, near Drax - Time of call 11:09

A fire officer  attended a report of a cow with it’s head stuck in a tree. Assisted by members of the public and by use of small tools, cow successfully released.

Knavesmire Stand, York Racecourse  - Time of call 11:28

Huntington crew responded to a fire alarm activation in the weighing room caused by a faulty detector.

Commercial Street, Norton - Time of call 13:12

Malton and Pickering crews extinguished a fire to rubbish stored at the bottom of a stairwell in a premises comprising a ground floor shop with flats above. Firecrews used a locksnapper to ascertain that all but one of the upper flats were empty, the one occupant being out of the premises on their arrival. Fire damage was to the interior of the stairwell door. Firecrews used breathing apparatus, a hose reel and ventilation fan.

Petrol station, Wetherby Road, Boroughbridge - Time of call 13:44

Firecrew used sand to mop up a spill of approx. 20lts of petrol on the forecourt following a petrol pump hose failure.
