Woodland Avenue, Scarborough - Time of call 19:25

Firecrews from Scarborough and Filey attended a smoke alarm activation with the warden service stating they could get no response from the occupiers.  On attendance all occupants were safe and well with the alarm activating due to cooking fumes.

North Parade, Skipton - Time of call 19:30

Skipton crew responded to a fire alarm activation at a community centre.  Cause of activation believed to be due to workmen.

East Parade, York - Time of call 19:34

York firecrew extinguished a fire to rubbish in a large builders bag at the roadside, with a bucket of water and the cause being deliberate

Swanlow Drive, Acaster Malbis - Time of call 22:06

A hazmat officer was consulted and an appliance from York duly attended to a report of a noxious smell affecting residents. Advice given to caller due to smell being silage spread over a nearby farmer’s field.

Wykeham Street, Scarborough  - Time of call 22:27

Scarborough firecrew responded to a report of a sparking cooker electric socket after steam from a boiling kettle effected it. Crews isolated electrical supply, gave advice and fitted x2 smoke alarms.

Off A170, near Nawton  Time of call 22:34

Firecrews from Kirkbymoorside and Helmsley attended a van fire.  2 hosereels used to extinguish the believed deliberate ignition..

Swainsea Lane, Pickering  - Time of call 23:17

Pickering crew responded to a fire alarm activation in a school caused by dust.

A crew from Selby responded to a fire alarm activation in a commercial premises which was due to a system fault.

Stonegate, York - Time of call 04:06

A crew from York responded to a fire alarm activation in a commercial premises which was due to a believed system fault, as there were no keyholders present to allow access.

Bad Bargain Lane, York - Time of call 05:22

A crew from York responded to a fire alarm activation in a domestic  premises caused by a system fault.
