Breaking News for nightshift 22 November 2017

Fire crews from Bentham, Settle and Skipton responded to numerous flooding incidents in the Ingleton and Bentham area between the times of 21:00 and midnight . Crews assisted over thirty properties with pumping out water and diverting water flow.

In addition to this the following incidents occurred:

Swinton Court, Harrogate  - Time of call 22:43

Fire crews from Harrogate responded to reports of a smell of burning in a domestic property. This was a false alarm caused by an overheated appliance.

Conygarth Way, Leeming Bar Business Park - Time of call 23:03

Bedale fire crew attended a fire alarm activation at a commercial premises. This was a false alarm.

Barker Drive, Selby  - Time of call 04:45

Selby firecrew responds to a moped on fire on a footpath, extinguished by hosereel.

St.Thomas, Scarborough - Time of call 05:02

Scarborough firecrews respond to request from Police to attend a premises after a member of the public state x4 persons have climbed scaffolding and onto the roof. X3 males and x1 female brought down and left in care of Police.

Rear of Buller Street, Selby  - Time of call 05:10

Selby firecrew responds to a wheelie bin fire in an alleyway, extinguished by hosereel.
