Incident Summary, Night Shift, Thursday 23rd November

TOC    18:07   Gargrave Road, Skipton

A crew from Skipton attended a report of an automatic fire alarm sounding, following inspection this was found to be a false alarm due to steam

TOC    18:14   Dalamires Way North, Ripon

A crew from Ripon attended a report of an automatic fire alarm sounding, following inspection this was found to be a fire to a pair of overalls caused by a spark from welding equipment, no persons were injured and the fire was limited to the overalls, one bucket of water was used.

TOC    20:05   Carmelite Street, York

A crew from York attended a report of an automatic fire alarm sounding, following inspection this was found to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes

TOC    20:17   Hopper Hill Road, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough attended a report of a fire in the open, this was found to be old sofas and general rubbish that had been set alight, crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire

A crew from Selby responded to a report of a distressed dog which had become trapped between metal railings. On their attendance, a good Samaritan from a nearby residence had used his spade to prise railings apart enough for dog to be freed back to it’s grateful female owner
