Incident Summary Saturday 27th October Night Shift

 

 

Time 18:41     Location Hungate York

 

Crews from York station responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding in residential flats. On arrival the crews discovered the alarm was sounding due to a fault on the system.

 

Time 19:12     Location A19 between Knayton and South Kilvington

 

Crews from Northallerton, Thirsk & Ripon along with an officer attended a single vehicle road traffic collision. On arrival Police were in attendance and all persons were out of the vehicle. No action by fire service.

 

Time 20:39     Gusborough Road, Whitby

 

Crews from Whitby were called to reports of a fire in the open. Crews discovered it was controlled burning and they were not required.

 

Time 20:57     Town End Close, Skipton

 

A crew from Skipton were sent to reports of a fire alarm sounding in a residential property. The alarm was believed to of been triggered by spray from an aerosol.

 

Time 21:09      Front Street, Sowerby, Thirsk

 

Crews from Thirsk attended a fire alarm sounding in a residential property. The cause of the alarm was cooking fumes.

Time 02:06      Marfield, Masham

 

Crews from Masham attended a fire alarm sounding in a commercial property. The cause of the alarm was dust in a detector.
