Incident summary - Night shift 5th October

6th October 2018

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Ripon -Time of call 18:49

Fire crews from Ripon assisted a male that was stuck in a hoist. Crews used small tools. Male was uninjured.

Linton on Ouse  - Time of call 19:45

Crews from Acomb assisted Paramedics with a male with a broken leg. Male was unable to be assisted from property and crews had to use the aerial ladder platform from Harrogate to extricate him from the first floor window.

Strensall - Time of call 04:24

Fire crews from Huntington attended a car fire. Cause of fire was believed to be collision with a tree. No persons injured. Crews extinguished fire using one hose rrel and one breathing apparatus.  

In addition crews attended several smoke alarm activations across the County. These were all false alarms.
