Incident Summary - Day shift Friday 23rd March

23rd March 2018

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Heslington Road, York - Time of call 07:02

 

Fire crews from York responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a commercial premises. This was a false alarm caused by a system fault.

Wheatlands Grove, Harrogate - Time of call 11:29

 

Harrogate fire crews responded to a hedgerow well alight. Some workmen had lit a small bonfire and the spark from the fire ignited the hedge. The crew extinguished the fire using one hose reel.

Scarborough - Time of call 12:12

 

Fire crews from Scarborough attended an automatic fire alarm sounding at a domestic property. This was a false alarm caused by the occupant smoking.

Navigation Road, York - Time of call 15:31

 

York fire crews responded to a fire alarm activation at a residential property.  This was a false alarm caused by dust in detector.
