Time of call 19:21

Fire crews from Northallerton attended reports of a car fire, however on arrival crews confirmed this was a false alarm, a blown gasket had caused steam mistaken for smoke.

Sea View Crescent, Scarborough

Time of call 20:34

Fire crews from Scarborough responded to reports of a vehicle leaking diesel on the side of the road. Crews confirmed that the leak had been dealt with by the owner prior to arrival of Fire Service.

Woodland Avenue, Scarborough

Time of call 20:39

Fire crews from Scarborough responded to reports of smoke sighted in the area of woodland avenue. On arrival crews informed Control that they were extinguishing a small fire involving rubbish. Fire was caused deliberately. Crews used bukets of water.

Biggin Lane, Selby

Time of call 21:16

Fire crews from Selby responded to reports of a fire sighted near the railway line in Biggin. Crews discovered a planned bonfire in the open that was under supervision and did not pose any danger.


In addition to these incidents NYFRS atteneded several automatic fire alarms that all turned out to be false alarms.
