Crews from Scarborough responded to an automatic fire alarm. This was a false alarm


Ramsey Close, York

Crew from York and Acomb responded to reports of fire in a room of a public building. On arrival crews confirmed a very minor fire had occureed but was out on their arrival.. Fire is believed to have been caused by a discarded sparkler.


A171, Uggthorpe

Time of call 20:30

Fire crew from Whitby and Lythe responded to reports of a two vehicle road traffic collision. On arrival crew confirmed that they were releasing a female casualty from one of the vehicles via roof removal. Female had non life threatening injuries. Crew also stabilised vehicles and made them safe.


Leyburn Business Park, Leyburn

Time of call 22:47

Crews from Leyburn responded to an automatic fire alarm at a commercial premises. This was a false alarm.


Coggan Close, York

Time of cakk 03:17

Fire crew from York responded to a smoke alarm sounding in a domestic premises. On arrival crew confirmed that the alarm had been activated on purpose through a break glass point – there was no fire.
