Fire crews from Scarborough attended automatic fire alarm activation, this was a false alarm.

Falsgrave road, Scarborough - Time of 19:01

Fire crews from Scarborough responded to a fire in a kitchen of a ground floor flat. Cause of fire is believed to be accumulation of fat inside cooker. Crews isolate power to cooker and gave advice.

Tate Hill, Whitby - Time of call 19:20

Whitby fire crew attended a small bonfire on the beach consisting of wood and sticks. Crews extinguished the fire using buckets and spades.

Carlton Lane, Helmsley  - Time of call 01:19

Helmsley fire crew attended an automatic fire alarm at a public premises. This was caused by a system fault,

Fulwith Avenue, Harrogate - Time of call 02:50

Harrogate and Knaresborough fire crews attended a house fire. Fire started in the lounge. Cause of fire is yet to be determined. Extensive fire damage was caused to the ground floor. Crews extinguished fire using two hose reels and four breathing apparatus.
