Incident Summary - Night shift Saturday 9th June

9th June 2018

TOC 1918 – Harrogate Area

Crews were called by Police to assist with reports of persons setting fires in the open. Upon arrival crews found no fires and no persons present.


TOC 2303 – Skipton Area

Crews were called to reports of a person missing after swimming in a lake. Upon attendance crews found the person safe and well. Crews gave advice on scene.


TOC 2356 – Harrogate Area

Crews were called to assist with reports of a pet stuck on a roof. Upon arrival crews assisted the owner with a means to allow the animal to return to the window it had climbed out of. Advice was given to the owner on scene.


TOC 0126 – York Area

Crews were called to a building experiencing a fuel leak from a boiler. Upon arrival the crews investigated and isolated the fuel supply and carried out further investigation. Heating oil was found heating oil had leaked from the boiler. Crews assisted by ventilated property and gave advice on scene.


False Alarms:

Crews attended multiple false alarms throughout the course of the night duty.
