Philippa’s Drive, Harrogate Time of call 17:33

Fire crews from Harrogate and Knaresborough attended reports of a fire inside a domestic property. On arrival crews confirmed a small fire involving a fish tank in the hall. The fire was caused by an electrical fault in a fish tank. Crews extinguished fire and saved all the fish.

New Queen Street, Scarborough Time of call 21:31

Fire crews from Scarborough attended reports of a bin fire, crews confirmed 1 bin well alight. Cause is believed to be deliberate. Fire extinguished using 1 hose reel jet.

New Road Drax Time of call 23:19

Fire crews from Selby and two Humberside appliances attended a fire to an industrial premises on New Lane. Fire had been extinguished prior to arrival of Fire Service. Investigation was carried out but no further action taken. Cause of fire was leaking oil.

Wreyfield Drive, Scarborough Time of call 23:26

Fire crew from Scarborough responded to a domestic trailer well alight. Fire was extinguished using 1 hose reel jet. Cause of fire was believed to be deliberate.

 

In addition to the jobs listed above. NYFRS crews attended fire alarms at several locations. All of which were false alarms
