Incident summary Night shift Thursday 30th November

A169, Hole of Horcum - Time of call 19:02

Fire Officers came across a single vehicle road traffic collision caused by snowy weather conditions. No people were trapped or hurt.

Gargrave Road, Skipton - Time of call 19:12

Skipton Fire crew responded to a chimney fire involving a log burner. Fire was caused by accumulation of soot. Crews extinguished fire and gave advice to occupant.

A174, Lythe - Time of call 19:24

Lythe Fire crews assisted Police in making scene safe following a single vehicle road traffic collision. No persons were trapped.

Sutton Fields, The Coppice, Keighley  - Time of call 19:37

Fire crews from Skipton responded to a small amount of rubbish on fire, started by youths with matches. Crews used a bucket of water

In addition to the above North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service attended several automatic fire alarms, these occurred in Filey, Summerbridge, Harrogate and Huntington. All were false alarms
